What elements prevent someone from prospering? Josimar Salum

What elements prevent someone from prospering?
Josimar Salum

There are many situations in our lives that seem to never end. We struggle and strive to prosper, but it seems that the more we fight, the more difficulties arise to impede us from reaching our goals. Is this not true?

"If God is for us, who can be against us?" In these words lies a truth that should never be despised. Perhaps most people will never consider this, but it would be foolish not to do so. For if God is against us, then who will be for us?

One of the things that most prevents a person from thriving lies in what said person says. One thing that surely brings resistance from God himself for an entire family to thrive is the language one uses at home.

One of the things that the Spirit clearly teaches is that God directs His wrath towards he who speaks profanity, obscenities, tells dirty jokes, and curses with his tongue.

Do you want to thrive? Change the way you speak!.

"-and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.  But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.” Therefore do not be partners with them.” Ephesians 5: 2-7

"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” Ephesians 4: 29-30

Want to thrive? Do not grieve the Holy Spirit. Those who frequently grieve the Holy Spirit end up resisting Him. And whoever resists him has lost the only one who can bless. "The Lord's blessing enriches and adds no pain."

"The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.

By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer." Psalm 19: 7, 11, 14

"Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."Joshua 1: 8
