THE GREAT AXIOM OF LIFE .

THE GREAT AXIOM OF LIFE .

There is a very interesting story called "The Treasure of Bresa", where a poor person buys a book with the secret of a treasure.

To discover the secret, one has to decipher all the languages written in the book.

When studying and learning these Languages, opportunities begin to appear in the subject's life and he slowly (safely) begins to prosper.

Then he needs to decipher the mathematical calculations in the book.

He is obliged to continue studying and developing and his prosperity increases.

At the end of the story, there is no treasure - in the search for the secret, a person has developed so much that he himself becomes the treasure.

The professional who wants to have success and prosperity needs to learn to work himself with a lot of discipline and persistence.

I often see people working hard at work because they were too lazy to work hard on themselves.

The worst are the ones who think they can work hard from time to time.

Or that they've already worked hard and can now settle down.

Understand: the improvement process must never end.

Accommodation is the biggest enemy of success!!!

That's why they say the journey is more important than the destination.

What you are ends up being much more important than what you have.

The important question is not "how much will I have?", but "who will I become?"

It's not "how much will I earn?" but "how much will I learn?".

Think about it and you will notice that everything you have is the direct result of the person you are today.

If you don't have enough, or if you think the world is unfair, maybe it's time to review these concepts.

The doorman at my building comes immediately to mind.

He's been a doorman for as long as I've known him.

He spends 8 hours a day in his living room, sitting behind his desk.

I never caught him reading a book. He's always watching TV, or complaining about the government, the salary, the time.

He's a good doorman, but in all these years he could have developed and been much better than he is today.

He's still a doorman, knowing (and doing) exactly the same things he knew (and did) ten years ago.

Then he complains that the union does not negotiate a greater readjustment every year.

I could never make him understand that people don't deserve to earn more just because time has passed.

Either you learn and improve, or you deserve to keep getting the exact same thing.

Produce more?  Worth more, earn more.

Does it produce the same thing?  Earn the same. It's simple.

A person's income rarely exceeds his personal and professional development.

Sometimes some are a little more lucky, but on average this is very rare.

Just see what happens to lottery winners, stars, athletes.  In a few years they lose everything.

Someone once remarked that if all the money in the world were shared equally, it would soon be back in the pockets of a few.

Because the truth is, it's hard to receive more than you are.

As Jim Rohn says, in what he calls the great axiom of life:

"To have more tomorrow, you need to be more than you are today."

That should be the focus of your attention.

There are no need for revolutionary leaps, no sudden tremendous efforts.

Improve by 1% every day (the concept of "kaizen"), in different areas of your life, non-stop.

Keep going, even if the results are not immediate and it seems/superficially that it is not getting better.

Because there is, according to Rohn, another axiom: that of not changing.

"If you don't change who you are, you will continue to have what you always had".

”Doing the right things and not the right things.”

So take advantage of the opportunity our Heavenly Father  gives you and evolve, change however small the course and become someone better every day.

You are capable and you deserve it.

MYTH AND TRUTH

MYTH:

The good news is that Jesus is risen, is returning and will reign with His church for 1000 years and then there will be a new heaven and a new earth.

TRUTH:

THE LORD JESUS REIGNS ETERNALLY.  Christ died for our sins, according to Scripture, and who was buried, and who rose on the third day, according to Scripture.  The Day of the Lord will come like the thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass with a great crash, and the elements, burning, will melt, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned.  ... waiting and hurrying you for the coming of the Day of God, when the heavens, in fire, will melt, and the elements, burning, will melt?  But we, according to his promise, await new heavens and a new earth, on which justice dwells.  "

Fake News. How can we know the truth behind all the information we receive? By Josimar Salum

Fake News. How can we know the truth behind all the information we receive? By
Josimar Salum

There are millions of voices in the world. There's so much information we receive everyday;  be it from family, the people around us, the government, school, newspapers, radio, TV, Internet, social media, everywhere, from a variety of sources and acquaintances.

The question remains: who can be trusted? Who can surely give us the honest knowledge and information we need? And finally, how do we know which information is true?

Even the people we trust do not hold all the facts or knowledge that we can rely on accurately. There are people whom we trust without even knowing them in person. And there are people whom we doubt despite them being so close. We tend to give credit to influential and famous people to the detriment of those we have known for years as if fame were a guarantee that these people are faithfully true. We should not confuse credibility with truthfulness.

In all of this, the main issue nowadays is to know the truth. Only Truth can liberate us and fortify our lives to the point of enduring the trials of existence on our journey on this planet. There is a huge difference between truth and Truth. The truth has to do with authenticity, accuracy and exactness of facts. Misunderstanding only occur when we believe the reporting of facts that are false. And there is myth! The myth is the expression of facts that have become "truths" that have become believable by how much they have been repeated.

I trust in the Holy Spirit that can guide me into all truth. I trust in my daily relationship with Jesus to move forward in life. I depend on Him to guide me in making the right decisions every day.

I also classify the information I receive from sources. If I want health information, I will not get it from an engineer. Even so, I will make sure to get health information not only from doctors, but from other health professionals, such as those involved with natural medicine, for example.

I do not close my options in my conditioning of tradition. I'm wide open to explore any different doors or angles. I have different opinions while I do my own work at home because I know how to move from different sources and specialists. Listening to a multitude of counselors is wiser than just hearing some opinions and being satisfied because of our laziness.

Each of us deals with lies every day. From the people around us, from the media and even from people who are Christian. Do not be offended, that's a fact. People have their own agenda, and many of them will do whatever it takes to fulfill their plans, no matter what.

If we are talking about news, we should observe different channels and communication points, obtain a complete perspective and search for the whole story, not just some parts that are presented to us. We should consult all the sources we have and look for new ones and check them constantly. We should be able to go to the source from which the news is assumed to have been generated. Someone who tells the truth today may be lying to you tomorrow. Whoever lied will always lie. And the opposite is almost impossible.

This short essay aims to encourage you to work hard, to investigate, to press information and knowledge, not relying on anyone as an exclusive resource. You have to ask more questions than wait for answers. When the answers are more numerous than your questions, you have been manipulated and dominated by outsiders you do not really know.

In the systems of this world, it does not matter if they are within any government or in any religious setting, the "truth" is not absolute. I am referring to this truth as in the form of a concept, a doctrine, a religion, a political party or anything else; even a Christian denomination. This truth is not absolute.

The true Truth is a person, not a philosophy, not a creed, not a confession of faith, not even own convictions. The Truth is Jesus. Jesus is the Truth and you will do very well if you follow Him, even when information and knowledge say otherwise.
