34th Anniversary and counting ...

In 1982 I met Cristina in a small church in the  Montanhês Garden neighborhood in Belo Horizonte city, in the same neighborhood, on the same street, where I walked when I was 9 years old.
That Thursday night, at the invitation of my uncle Joaquim Salum, I preached: "Love is patient, it is kind; love is not envious; love does not treat lightly, it is not arrogant, it does not behave with indecency, it does not seek its interests, it does not irritate itself, it does not suspect evil; he rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; all things suffer, believe all things, hope all things, endure all things. Love Never Ends "1 Corinthians 13: 4-8.
Two years later, June 8, 1984, we got married. It is now 34 years of marriage experiencing and living the message of that day. I did not know that night that the young lady in front of me whom I always looked at while ministering, would be the woman of my life. Her face met the Word I proclaimed. That night, with the Bible opened in the Chapter of Love, God sealed in time what He had already determined in eternity.
God feeds romances; rejoices with the Love of a man and a woman. He prepares moments like our eternal instant. The perfumed oil of that moment still drips on us today! The years passed, our Love remains. One day, a long time ago, I well know. It always returns, in the heart that never forgets, between the facts, the events, good and bad, of many years gone, that night, that moment, that moment is forever!

The day 5 judges defrauded the American Democracy.



A friend who lives in Brazil wrote a message: "The President of the United States sang an Christian hymn at the Methodist Church at the funeral of an American pastor murdered by a racial hatred act on the same day that he celebrated the decision by the Supreme Court to legalize gay marriage all throughout the land."

This President, a son of Belial had already demonstrated its anti-family agenda before elected and his actions and decisions against the Word of God.

These five judges (5 x 4) that scorned the American democracy are wicked and evil men and women who have no fear of God, and are despots of the judiciary who ignored the will of at least 50 million Americans. They have no constitutional power to do what they did nor moral authority to redefine marriage.


Judge Samuel Alito in his dissenting opinion wrote: "Today's decision will also have a fundamental effect on this Court and its ability to uphold the rule of law. If a bare majority of Justices can invent a new right and impose that right on the rest of the country, the only real limit on what future majorities will be able to do is their own sense of what those with political power and cultural influence are willing to tolerate."

Although I have gay friends and I love them, I will never accept a redefinition of what God has already defined. Marriage is a unique and exclusive union for life of one man and one woman.

It is in these moments that we are called to take our position clear that we ought to obey God rather than men.

Why do President and Vice President support gay marriage?


"Vice President Joe Biden has apologized to President Barack Obama for putting him in a tough position that led to Obama's announcement that he now supports same-sex marriage, senior administration officials said Thursday. Obama said in an interview that aired Thursday on ABC that he made his decision public earlier than he had planned after Biden's weekend remark that he was "absolutely comfortable" with letting gays and lesbians marry."

They are suppose to follow, obey and defend the Constitution. Even the Highest Law of the Republic can be written, but not with God, the Creator and Owner of us all says:

"Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.

They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.

In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another.

Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents;

they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy.

Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them."

With Montreat, North Carolina, being the home of the Billy Graham Ministries, their endorsement of Amendment One on Tuesday helped the state become the 31st state to pass a constitutional amendment establishing the institution of marriage as solely between a man and a woman."
