WHAT PREVENTS A PERSON FROM PROSPERING ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE

WHAT PREVENTS A PERSON FROM PROSPERING ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE – Josimar Salum

The Bible presents several factors that can prevent a person’s prosperity, especially a man’s, in every aspect of his life.

1. Laziness and Lack of Diligence

Proverbs 10:4 – “He who works with a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.”

Proverbs 6:10-11 – “A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest—so shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, and your need like an armed man.”

→ The Bible teaches that laziness and lack of effort lead to poverty, while diligence brings prosperity.

2. Dishonesty and Greed

Proverbs 13:11 – “Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.”

Proverbs 15:27 – “He who is greedy for unjust gain troubles his own house, but he who hates bribes will live.”

→ The Bible teaches that quick and dishonest gains do not last, while prosperity built with honest and steady work is blessed and lasting.

“Wealth gained hastily will dwindle”

→ This refers to money obtained illegally, through corrupt means, gambling, or deceptive schemes. Like adding water to a can of milk to increase the volume, reducing the amount of product and selling it at the same price; offering a lower-quality product for the price of a better one; helping one person by harming another in exchange for a favor; giving better treatment to someone because of money or advantage received. Wealth obtained this way usually disappears quickly.

“But whoever gathers little by little will increase it” → This counsel from the Lord is a principle that teaches diligence and financial planning. Working with honesty and patience leads to sustainable growth.

Proverbs 20:21 – “An inheritance gained hastily in the beginning will not be blessed in the end.”

Ecclesiastes 5:10 – “He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income. This also is vanity.”

3. Lack of Fear of God

Deuteronomy 28:15 – “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you.”

Psalm 1:1-3 – “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked (…) but his delight is in the law of the Lord (…). Whatever he does shall prosper.”

→ Obedience to God and His commandments is connected to prosperity, while disobedience leads to suffering and ruin.

4. Lack of Wisdom and Planning

Proverbs 21:5 – “The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty.”

Luke 14:28 – “For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?”

→ Success requires planning and wisdom in managing resources.

5. Bad Habits and Bad Company

Proverbs 23:21 – “For the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty, and drowsiness will clothe a man with rags.”

1 Corinthians 15:33 – “Do not be deceived: ‘Bad company corrupts good morals.’”

→ Addiction, mismanagement of resources, and bad influences inevitably lead to ruin.

6. Neglect of Work and Family

1 Timothy 5:8 – “But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”

→ The lack of responsibility in supporting the family brings hardship and suffering.

The man must ensure that his wife and children have their basic needs met, such as food, shelter, and clothing.

Scripture is clear in affirming that a man must financially take care of his home.

1 Timothy 5:8 – “But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”

If a man deliberately leaves the support of the household in the hands of the woman due to laziness, cowardice, or lack of commitment, he is sinning against God.

Proverbs 6:9-11 – “How long will you lie there, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest—so shall your poverty come like a thief, and your need like an armed man.”

Isaiah 3:12 – “As for My people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them.”

In Israel, when men failed to lead, women took over, which was a sign of disorder.

Ecclesiastes 10:18 – “Because of laziness the building decays, and through idleness of hands the house leaks.”

If the man does not work and fulfill his responsibility, his house falls into ruin.

7. Pride and Lack of Humility

Proverbs 16:18 – “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.”

James 4:6 – “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

→ Pride can lead to failure, while humility attracts God’s grace.

8. Lack of Generosity

Proverbs 11:24-25 – “There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty. The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.”

Luke 6:38 – “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your lap.”

→ Generosity and helping others are biblical principles that bring prosperity.

   CONCLUSION

According to the Bible, a man may block his own prosperity through laziness, dishonesty, lack of fear of God, poor planning, bad company, family neglect, pride, and lack of generosity. The path to true prosperity involves diligent work, wisdom, faith, and obedience to God.

According to the Bible, a fake, lying, and dishonest person is prevented by God from prospering. Scripture teaches that God rejects falsehood and injustice, and those who practice such things eventually reap negative consequences.

1. God Abhors Dishonesty

Proverbs 11:1 – “Dishonest scales are an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight.”

Proverbs 13:11 – “Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, but he who gathers by labor will increase.”

→ Dishonesty in business and personal relationships can bring loss and ruin.

2. Lies Bring Consequences

Proverbs 12:22 – “Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal truthfully are His delight.”

Psalm 101:7 – “He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he who tells lies shall not continue in my presence.”

→ God rejects liars and promises they will not remain firm.

3. Hypocrisy and Pretense Are Condemned

Matthew 23:28 – “Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.”

Luke 12:1-2 – “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.”

→ Hypocrisy can be hidden for a time, but God will expose the truth.

Ephesians 5:11-14 – “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says: ‘Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.’”

4. The Wicked’s Ruin is Certain

Proverbs 10:3 – “The Lord will not allow the righteous soul to famish, but He casts away the desire of the wicked.”

Proverbs 15:6 – “In the house of the righteous there is much treasure, but in the revenue of the wicked is trouble.”

→ Even if a dishonest person seems to prosper for a time, his prosperity is temporary.

Psalm 37:7-9 – “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. (…) For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait on the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.”

5. Justice and Truth Lead to True Prosperity

Psalm 1:1-3 – “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked (…) but his delight is in the law of the Lord (…). Whatever he does shall prosper.”

Proverbs 28:6 – “Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than one perverse in his ways, though he be rich.”

→ True prosperity comes from righteousness and faithfulness to God.

   FINAL CONSIDERATIONS

The Bible teaches that lying, dishonesty, and hypocrisy may bring temporary gain, but in the end, they result in failure and destruction. God Himself hinders the prosperity of such people, allowing them to face the consequences of their actions. True prosperity comes from honesty, fear of God, and justice.

Isaiah 1:23 – “Your princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves; everyone loves bribes, and follows after rewards. They do not defend the fatherless, nor does the cause of the widow come before them.”

Bribery is when someone gives or receives something of value—like money, favors, or gifts—to influence a decision unfairly or to obtain or give a benefit through corruption and deception.

In daily life, bribery appears in various ways:

– A driver offers money to a police officer to avoid a fine. Or a police officer accepts money to overlook an illegal act.

– A public official is paid to approve an illegal document.

– A judge favors one side in a case because of a secret payment.

– A boss selects an employee based on personal interest, not merit.

In the Bible, bribery is sin. It distorts justice and favors the wrong.

Exodus 23:8 – “You shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the discerning and perverts the words of the righteous.”

Psalm 15:1, 5 – “Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? (…) He who does not take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.”

Isaiah 5:23 – “Woe to those who justify the wicked for a bribe, and take away justice from the righteous man!”

Isaiah 33:15–16 - “The one who walks in righteousness and speaks with honesty, who rejects gain from oppression, who shakes his hands free of bribes, who stops his ears from hearing about bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking at evil—this person will dwell on the heights; the mountain fortress will be his refuge. His bread will be provided, and his water will be sure.”

Proverbs 29:4 – “The king establishes the land by justice, but he who receives bribes overthrows it.”

Micah 7:3 – “That they may successfully do evil with both hands—The prince asks for gifts, the judge seeks a bribe, and the great man utters his evil desire; so they scheme together.”

→ Bribery destroys nations, governments, businesses, organizations and institutions, leading to widespread corruption.

According to the Bible, bribery is an unjust and corrupt practice that perverts judgment, harms the innocent, and displeases God. Those who accept or offer bribes are warned that their actions will lead to ruin. God demands justice and integrity in all areas of life.

DID GOD CREATE SATAN?

DID GOD CREATE SATAN?

So if God CREATED satan from scratch, and satan is a liar and murderer from the beginning (God knew and he still knows it), why would our  God of Love create such a powerful and evil being who would lie to Adm and Eve and fail them from the will of God through the transgression?

First of all Satan is not powerful. He is just a mere creature,  hateful, murderous and a liar.

   The point should be

What God he is so powerful and sovereign that created all things..

God in so infinite wisdom created all things but the most beautiful thing he created is liberty, freedom.

“Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?” Romans‬ ‭9‬:‭21‬-‭24‬ ‭

‬‬“For Jacob My servant’s sake, And Israel My elect, I have even called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me, That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting That there is none besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭45‬:‭4‬-‭7‬ ‭‬‬

“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.” Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭15‬-‭20‬ ‭‬‬

WHEN GOD SHUTS A DOOR. By Silas Amaral Pinto

WHEN GOD SHUTS A DOOR. By Silas Amaral Pinto

The next time a door closes in your life, before complaining or murmuring, pray and ask the Lord who closed that door!

The divine objective is our growth in faith, hope and love, and we only learn these virtues in the storm; just as a sailor can only be made in the depths of the sea, and not in the safety of the port.

Vincent Van Gogh had a strong desire to serve God. He abandoned his studies, left Amsterdam and went to be a lay preacher in the Borinage mining region of Belgium, where he taught, visited the sick and preached the Gospel.

Van Gogh began to irritate his superiors when he gave up his beautiful lodgings to a homeless man and moved to a hut near the miners, where he slept on straw. For these decisions he was fired.

The official reason given was that his speech was not eloquent enough to be a preacher, but in fact, he did not behave according to the expectations of the institutional church.

Van Gogh found solace in art, becoming one of the most celebrated artists of all time, discovering God's calling on his life.

The first gift of the Spirit given by God was the artistic gift. Art glorifies God.

God plans such great things in our lives that, instead of opening doors or windows, He knocks down a wall, or, if necessary, even breaks down walls, just to bless us (Acts 16:6-10).

The Lord God said to Moses:

I chose Bezalel, and I filled him with my Spirit. I gave him intelligence, competence and ability to do all kinds of artistic work; to make designs and work in gold, silver and bronze; for cutting and mounting precious stones; for carving wood; and to make all kinds of crafts.

I chose Oholiab to work with him. I also gave ability to all the skilled men to do all the things that I commanded... the fine cloth clothes, the sacred clothes that the priests wear. Exodus 31:1-5

Shining the Light on Islam! By: Dr. Josimar Salum

SHINING THE LIGHT ON ISLAM!

By: Dr. Josimar Salum

Written on November 18, 2015. Revised and edited on October 16, 2023.

Join this awareness campaign about Islam. Share it on social networks, via email or any form of media. Any means of free distribution is permitted.

Obviously there is a difference between radical and moderate Muslims. The first difference being the practitioners, the other differences being essentially religious or nominal. It is equally obvious that the Islamic State (ISIS) acts in the name of Islam. And they are inspired by their prophet Muhammad who, before he died, stated that every Muslim must do three things with those who are not Muslims: convert them, kill them or make them pay tribute. This is the oppressive recipe that ISIS (Islamic State) has imposed on non-Muslim populations throughout Iraq and Syria and where they exercise dominance.

Do you classify as Islamic terrorism only the barbaric acts carried out, for example, by ISIS in Paris and Beirut?

Research the multitude of barbaric terrorist acts in the world over the last 20 years: the largest number of them come from radical Muslims! Radicals, indeed, but nonetheless, Muslims. Every terrorist from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Palestine, etc. is a Muslim! All terrorist acts cited here are by Muslims! Not all Muslims are terrorists! Clearly! But all of these countries are Muslim! I will repeat: Not every Muslim is a terrorist, especially, only religious and nominal Muslims!

Anyone who ignores these unquestionable facts is in error for three reasons that are equally clear to me: due to ignorance, conscious choice or pathological disorder. In what category is President Obama, who stubbornly refused to recognize that ISIS is a Muslim faction?

The Islamic State is ultra-radical! But it is Islamic. (In these days, Hamas and Hezbolah are Islamic), Obama never uses these words while the group's own denomination carries the Islamic name and blames this truth! They sing the same prayers as all practicing Muslims around the world.

I believe that most of my readers have never read anything from the Quran and have never studied Islam using the appropriate sources. Islam in any form is a threat to human civilization. There is no Islam that is not radical in its theology. Unless every Muslim renounces all hateful language in their holy book and refuses to be a faithful disciple of Muhammad! If he does so, he will no longer be a Muslim; he will be considered an apostate. For ISIS, every Muslim who stops praying five times a day is no longer a Muslim, which is also why they are persecuted and murdered. Generally speaking, every Muslim, in Egypt, for example, who converts to Jesus is threatened with death, even by their parents or close relatives. Not only are they threatened, but many are murdered, some even by their own parents. Did you know that the Quran, the holy book of Muslims, has at least 106 passages that teach the killing of infidels like you, especially Jews and Christians?

Did you know, for example, that a mosque is not a church, and that its main function is to be a school for conquering the world? As the Quran proclaims that the entire world will be conquered by Islam.

Yes, Islam wants to dominate the entire Earth. Would you also consider terrorism or barbarism the undeniable fact that every woman is considered trash, without any human rights, in the absolute majority of Muslim countries?

See how human beings are treated in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen, Algeria, Iran, etc.! I had direct contact with hundreds of them and I can tell you this is exactly how they believe and act upon! And you will understand, if you do not yet understand with great distinction and wisdom what I present in this text. Do you know what would happen to me just for writing what I write in some of these countries? There is no freedom of expression, religious freedom, or free press in these nations!

In Islam, it is taught that every Muslim is obliged to hate Christians and Jews!

Although not every Islamist hates Jews and Christians, it is a fact that Muhammad, their prophet, killed hundreds of Jews and buried them in an open grave and that Christians are persecuted in all Muslim countries! I have Muslim friends! Good people! Even though they are friends, they admit that their holy book teaches that I should be considered an enemy and that I am an infidel. Yes, not all Muslims literally practice the teachings of the Quran! Not all of them are blind followers of Allah. Even though in the Quran “god” never blesses and never says he loves his children. To Allah, all his enemies deserve death! There is no forgiveness in Allah's vocabulary that his children should offer to other human beings who are not Muslim! Prayers to Allah are mantras of curses, and curses against all their enemies.

In fact, in 2012, a survey by The Economist magazine showed that more than 70% of the world's Muslims support compliance with sharia and 90% agree with the executions of enemies and apostates (people who abandon Islam). 70% is equivalent to more than 1 billion, and one hundred million people! 90% is equivalent to more than 1 billion and 400 million people! Can you get an idea of the size of these numbers associated with hatred and intolerance? There really is a big gap between what we think about Islam and what corresponds to reality.

This politically correct position of thinking that I am making a mistake in putting everyone in the same boat is a fantasy, self-denial, disillusionment!

Yes, Islam, in any form, is a threat to human rights because its principles are contradictory to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Now, if it is a threat to human rights, it is certainly a threat to civilization. Compare the pure teachings of Islam with the text of the declaration!

In conclusion, let me leave some perspective for my Christian readers.

As a student of the Scriptures, let me present you with a powerful statement. I affirm that Islam is the antichrist and Muhammad, its false prophet! I say this not because throughout history Protestants and evangelicals have always had the need in each era to name an antichrist. To this day, many evangelicals who adhere to eschatological fanaticism continue to look to Rome for what the Apocalypse openly teaches to be related to Babylon. Daniel understood this clearly in his book! Babylon is Babylon! And let's face it, there are many antichrists, there are even Catholic, evangelical, Pentecostal and neo-Pentecostal antichrists! Undoubtedly! There are many antichrists! Revelation‬ ‭13:7‭-‬10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

[7] It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. [8] All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world. [9] Whoever has ears, let them hear. [10] “If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.” This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.

Can you see any parallels between this text of Scripture and what is happening today in the Islamic world? Have you ever watched a video of radical Muslims beheading Christians with swords? Did you hear about the 200 Syrian children recently shot by the Islamic State (in 2015)? Are you aware of the thousands of Christian that are in prisons in all Arab Muslim countries?

Have you heard any head of state from a Muslim country condemn these acts of cruelty or any others committed against Christians? Have you seen any of them demand the immediate release of a Christian arrested for preaching the Gospel? Did you know that in most of these countries, anyone who converts to any faith, especially Christ, is arrested or murdered in public? Isn't it a fact that millions of these Muslims who are not "radical" do not condemn this barbarism in their countries and even watch the executions? How can it be said that only a minority of them are radical or ultra-radical?!

And what can we say about Arab countries in relation to acts committed against Jews while they do not even condemn Palestinian attacks against Jews?! They only condemn what the Jews "do against the Palestinians"! Did you know that thousands of Arabs and Palestinians live in Israel and enjoy full freedom and those who live in Gaza do not enjoy neither peace or freedom?

I'm not here defending Jews or even Christians, for that matter. I'm just describing facts. Now, if Islam is a religion of peace or a movement to conquer the world for good, why don't they condemn violence perpetrated against innocent people?

I love Muslims as much as Jews and Christians, but won't you admit that there is a very clear difference between the opposing beliefs when it comes to terrorist practices around the world? Do you see examples of Christians and Jews wantonly killing innocents around the world? Revelation 13:1, 7-10, 11, 15-17 ‭NIV‬‬

[1] The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.

[11] Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon.

[15] The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. [16] It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, [17] so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

Do you remember the following text from a certain king of Babylon - in what is now Iraq and Iran - and see similarities with the passage above? King Nebuchadnezzar made a golden statue, and the herald proclaimed in a loud voice: Daniel‬ ‭3:4‭, ‬6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

[4] … “Nations and peoples of every language, this is what you are commanded to do: [6] Whoever does not fall down and worship will immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace.”

Read Daniel chapter 4! The event recorded there is a preview of what is happening nowadays! In this case, any similarity is not pure coincidence.

Well, I heard from many Christians in some Arab countries saying: "Yes, the antichrist is Islam and the false prophet is Muhammad and we have clearly lived through a great tribulation!" ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12:11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

[11] They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

EITHER GOD IS FOR YOU OR AGAINST YOU Josimar Salum

EITHER GOD IS FOR YOU OR AGAINST YOU

Josimar Salum

Wouldn't you like to end your religiosity once and for all; to end your double life?

"For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” 1 Peter 3:12

What are some of these evils?

“Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral (the sexually immoral are libertine, obscene: of lewd behavior, they spend the nights with obscene music and excessive drug use in drunken environments; they disregard the things of God), nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the Kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9‭-‬10

God is terribly against anyone who practices these evils, God himself is said person's adversary. If God is for us, who can be against us? But if God is against us there is no one who can be for us.

Why don't you prosper or advance in your projects? Why is there no success in your life?

You may ask: What about the bad men who thrive in everything they do even though they do evil?

Don't be fooled: “The sins of some are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them. In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not obvious cannot remain hidden forever." 1 Timothy 5:24‭-‬25

The righteous are those who humbly depend on Jesus alone to transform their lives.

It is essential that there be a turning point in your life that separates your present from your past. Thousands upon thousands who are in the church fail to realize that their religious life only hides their life in the practice of sin. As they live and interact in a Christian environment, they practice the same things they have always practiced with a lot of prayer, with songs and a lot of going to church. What they say as Christians is not based on their testimony.

“And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." 1 Corinthians 6:11

You haven't been washed if you continue to practice the same sins over and over again. You have not been justified if you continue to live a double life, one in private and another publicly.

“But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.”

“Flee from sexual immorality.”

“Do not allow love to turn to lust, triggering a descent into sexual promiscuity, filthy practices, or intimidating greed.

While some tongues just love the taste of gossip, those who follow Jesus have better uses for their tongues than that!

Don't say filthy or foolish things. That kind of conversation doesn't fit our lifestyle. Thanksgiving is our dialect.

You can be sure that using people, religion, or things just to get what you can get out of them – the usual variations of idolatry – will get you nowhere, and certainly nowhere near the Kingdom of Christ, the Kingdom of God.

Don't get carried away by religious bullshit.

God gets mad at people who are full of religious sales talk but want nothing to do with him. Don’t even be around people like that.”

"You say, “Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both.” The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?

You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." 1 Corinthians 6:13‭, ‬18‭-‬20

"But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.

Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.

For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and of God.

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them." Ephesians 5:3‭-‬7

Self-awareness of your state and your situation will allow you to go beyond your state of delusion and set a new course for your life. And only the Lord can help you.

Blaming others or justifying your actions on account of the misconduct of your parents, your spouses, family members, friends, pastors and whoever else will not do any good for you. God's business with you is only with you. You will sink into the wrath of God which is directly linked to your own practices and not those of others.

God is love and as much as He is Love, He is Justice!

For this reason, God will never condemn you for the sinful practices of others but for those you practice yourself. God will either condemn you or justify you.

“So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?

Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.

God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”

To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.

But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.

There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism." Romans 2:3‭-‬11

There is no act more unholy than taking the things of God, what you know as holiness, purity, the teachings of God that you have received in your life and despising them to continue living your life in practices that are far from God's will.

“What should the living complain? Complain anyone for their owns sins? Why should they complain when they are punished for their sins?" Lamentations 3:39

It's no use! You will never turn to God if you keep thinking as you think. It is not your actions that are the cause of your estrangement from God, but your thoughts.

If you don't align your thinking with what the Bible says, you will simply remain lost even though you appear to be a believer.

You align your thoughts not with your own way of interpreting the Bible or with what these modern preachers are teaching, with what you and they think, but with what God himself thinks and says.

For you to know how God thinks, just study the life of Jesus in the Gospels and observe how He spoke, with whom He walked, how He acted, how He behaved. AND FOLLOW JESUS.

Otherwise, you will keep doing what you have always done.

Immorality is sin. Not forgiving is a sin. Lying is a sin. Living in communion with the scoffers and this implies watching their videos, enjoying their songs, talking about their expressions and lying with them in thoughts is sin.

If Jesus does not transform you into His image and likeness, you will always be sin. Cry ardently to Him so that He will change your being completely.

Life with Jesus is not for those who do the things He did. Life with Jesus begins with Him giving you the power to become a child of God. When He changes you, you can do what He did.

“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon." Isaiah 55:6‭-‬7
