RESULTS ARE NOT PRODUCED BY EXCUSES Jones Singini

RESULTS ARE NOT PRODUCED BY EXCUSES

Jones Singini

It's easy to look for a reason why something wasn't done.

It is even easier to postpone today's assignments to a distant future.

Many find solace in giving explanations on why the answer turned out to be wrong.

Obviously the student says the teacher didn't teach us.

The farmer blames the bad weather.

The entrepreneur shifts the blame on the economy.

Everyone is creating an excuse in one way or the other.

Interestingly in the same class where the student blames the teacher for their failure, another comes out with flying colors.

Where one farmer shifts the blame on the weather, another has a bumper harvest.

At the end of it all, an excuse is not the result.

It doesn't matter how valid an explanation one might bring across, the intended solution is still missing from the picture.

Notwithstanding the genuine and bigger than life challenges, one ought to fight on to produce what is expected.

Such is the order of life instead of spending days without number to convince others of why you failed.

Through the habit of making excuses, you are destroying your creative powers to generate the ideal solutions.

Laziness is promoted by a deep rooted thinking that if things don't work out, l can always explain it anyway.

In short, an excuse is a distraction that prevents you from achieving a task or an ultimate goal.

It gives relief in the short run but carries with it haunting experiences of mediocrity deep into the future.

I read about Tim Ferris and I like what he said and I quote: “The stars will never align, and the traffic lights of life will never all be green at the same time. The universe doesn’t conspire against you, but it doesn’t go out of its way to line up the pins either. Conditions are never perfect. ‘Someday’ is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you."

Do what you can

Where you are

With what you have.

Push not to a day after tomorrow what you were supposed to do a day before yesterday.

Remember any excuse is not the result.

THROUGH THE GOOD OR BAD KEEP LEARNING By Jones Singini

THROUGH THE GOOD OR BAD KEEP LEARNING

By Jones Singini

Life presents uphill and downhill moments.

It will not always be Winter they say.

Sweet moments are followed by bitter ones, such are the ingredients that life is made of.

Never regret a day in your life, pick your lesson and be on the go again.

Whatever the state of affairs now, it will be gone tomorrow.

"Good days give you happiness and bad days give you experience."

Most often our greatest struggles form our greatest strength, and our worst experiences end up teaching us our greatest lessons.

In whatever experience, write the notes for reference later.

Be grateful for all experiences in your life, for they shaped who you are today and they keep on building you up for where you are going.

The great tree in the forest has been through the worst of droughts, the coldest winters, the storms that uprooted their colleagues and even the forest fires.

Amidst all that, the tree remained rooted.

If the stories of the greats amongst us are fully shared, then you will appreciate that we are and ought to be learners through this life.

The great Anonymous is ever right even through these words; "Everything that you are going through is preparing you for what you’ve asked for."

We ask for so much, yet never seem ready for those things when they arrive.

Sometimes not getting what you ‘want’ right away is a great blessing and a powerful life lesson.

Wherever you are and whatever you are going through, it's only a season as the great Preacher articulated, there is time for everything. (Ecc 3:1)

Learn from each moment and keep going.

I believe in you and the massive deposit you possess. Keep going.

THE GREAT AXIOM OF LIFE .

THE GREAT AXIOM OF LIFE .

There is a very interesting story called "The Treasure of Bresa", where a poor person buys a book with the secret of a treasure.

To discover the secret, one has to decipher all the languages written in the book.

When studying and learning these Languages, opportunities begin to appear in the subject's life and he slowly (safely) begins to prosper.

Then he needs to decipher the mathematical calculations in the book.

He is obliged to continue studying and developing and his prosperity increases.

At the end of the story, there is no treasure - in the search for the secret, a person has developed so much that he himself becomes the treasure.

The professional who wants to have success and prosperity needs to learn to work himself with a lot of discipline and persistence.

I often see people working hard at work because they were too lazy to work hard on themselves.

The worst are the ones who think they can work hard from time to time.

Or that they've already worked hard and can now settle down.

Understand: the improvement process must never end.

Accommodation is the biggest enemy of success!!!

That's why they say the journey is more important than the destination.

What you are ends up being much more important than what you have.

The important question is not "how much will I have?", but "who will I become?"

It's not "how much will I earn?" but "how much will I learn?".

Think about it and you will notice that everything you have is the direct result of the person you are today.

If you don't have enough, or if you think the world is unfair, maybe it's time to review these concepts.

The doorman at my building comes immediately to mind.

He's been a doorman for as long as I've known him.

He spends 8 hours a day in his living room, sitting behind his desk.

I never caught him reading a book. He's always watching TV, or complaining about the government, the salary, the time.

He's a good doorman, but in all these years he could have developed and been much better than he is today.

He's still a doorman, knowing (and doing) exactly the same things he knew (and did) ten years ago.

Then he complains that the union does not negotiate a greater readjustment every year.

I could never make him understand that people don't deserve to earn more just because time has passed.

Either you learn and improve, or you deserve to keep getting the exact same thing.

Produce more?  Worth more, earn more.

Does it produce the same thing?  Earn the same. It's simple.

A person's income rarely exceeds his personal and professional development.

Sometimes some are a little more lucky, but on average this is very rare.

Just see what happens to lottery winners, stars, athletes.  In a few years they lose everything.

Someone once remarked that if all the money in the world were shared equally, it would soon be back in the pockets of a few.

Because the truth is, it's hard to receive more than you are.

As Jim Rohn says, in what he calls the great axiom of life:

"To have more tomorrow, you need to be more than you are today."

That should be the focus of your attention.

There are no need for revolutionary leaps, no sudden tremendous efforts.

Improve by 1% every day (the concept of "kaizen"), in different areas of your life, non-stop.

Keep going, even if the results are not immediate and it seems/superficially that it is not getting better.

Because there is, according to Rohn, another axiom: that of not changing.

"If you don't change who you are, you will continue to have what you always had".

”Doing the right things and not the right things.”

So take advantage of the opportunity our Heavenly Father  gives you and evolve, change however small the course and become someone better every day.

You are capable and you deserve it.

ALWAYS HELP SOMEONE TO SUCCEED IN LIFE

ALWAYS HELP SOMEONE TO SUCCEED IN LIFE

Jolis Bigirimana

We were left to fight alone. Then God intervened. Today we've overcome, they're not understanding how we made it without their help. They thought we'd fail, and never cared if we could. Please come to our table, let's celebrate. Don't be filled with shame, we understand. It happens.

(If you've just read this, never miss an opportunity to help someone you know succeed in life, when God causes strangers to do and they succeed greatly, you will live your entire life blaming yourself and wishing you helped them).

And as I always say, always remember that the greatest investment you will ever make in this passing world, is one you do in people. While you're alive, help as many people as you can. It's a lifetime rewarding and so fulfilling investment: to hear generations thanking your name for helping their father or grandfather, for seeing someone you helped mentioning your name on bigger platform that without you they wouldn't have been there. Always Remember that.

And now you who have been abandoned and not cared for by the people that you so much expected from, loose out from anger. As a matter of fact, admit it that they owed you nothing in the first place. It was their money, their resources, their labor and sweat. So don't eye them badly for not helping you. If God provided through His means, and you have made it, be thankful, call them to your table, help lifting other people and even the children of those that let you down. Because you know how it means not to be helped.

My reminder is "lift generations and be reminded to always thank and celebrate the vessels God used to lift you up. Those ones deserve your respect, honor and celebration."

Let me finish by this: personally I have a list of families and friends that stood right next to me in time of my need. They are people who believed in the person I will be. They did not see who I was or am. They believed in the "Becoming Picture"

If you are reading this, I want you to know that I am so grateful and I will return with honors someday.

To everyone: Never be cheated of self made people. No matter who you are, someone helped you get there, RETURN the Honors. Maybe not to them, but to others in your neighborhood who lacks help. May God certify you as a right Vessel to bless others.
