True worship in Kigali, Rwanda

Apostle Salum: Praying praying doesn't guarantee prosperity, You need to ask Godly wisdom to guide you in everything you want to do!

Ministering in Kigali, Rwanda at the Zion Temple Celebration Center on January 13, 2019

Apostle Dr Paul Lee Taylor also shared us a message: What you posses is more than what you have, you should know that you have: a solution to someone's life today. And he is waiting for you.

IDENTITY & TRANSFORMATION
Dr. Josimar Salum

IDENTITY

1     - “When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.” “Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” Then he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.” Exodus 3:4-6

2     - “So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”” Exodus 3:10 NIV

3     - “But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”” Exodus 3:11 NIV

4     - “Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?” God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’ ” Exodus 3:13-14 NIV

5     - “God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ “This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation.” Exodus 3:15 NIV

6     - “There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up.” Exodus 3:2 NIV
Jesus is the Angel of the Lord!

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:1-3, 14 NIV

“He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.” John 1:11-13 NIV

TRANSFORMATION
1.    “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” Romans 12:1 NIV
Our God is an awesome God.

“Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?” “Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?” For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.”
Romans 11:33-36 NIV

THEREFORE, I URGE YOU - I beg you, beseech you, appeal to you, implore:

Don’t try to philosophy about God. Don’t try to define Him. Don’t try to “theologize”. There is no way to known Him by talking about Him. Job knee Him by hearing about Him. But he only knew Him truly when his eyes saw Him. You must meet Him. You must walk with Him. You have to call upon Him to walk with you on your day to day activities. It is a hoax to think you can meet God in a church. Actually, it is life with Him outside the Church that will determine how you all come to worship Him together.

In view of God’s mercy -

a) “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.” Ephesians 2:4-5 NIV

b) “He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,”
Titus 3:5 NIV

True and proper worship is not something you do on Sundays for 2 or 3 hours in church. It is your life in fullness, totally devoted to Jesus. Who you are, what you speak and everything you do are a living sacrifice of worship to God. When you awake up, brush your teeth, eat, wash your dishes, clean your house, feed your children, work, study, entertain yourself, play with your children, talk, pay your bills, go to church, therefore, it is your life in everything you do. That is living sacrifice.

So far, we have to empathize:
1.    I am a child of God. The I AM has made me who I AM.
2.    God who is infinitely great and marvelous has revealed Himself to me by His Grace and His Truth. I know who He is, and I know who I am.
3.    I am being transformed into His image. His great eternal purpose for my life is to transform me into the image of His Son.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.” Romans 8:28-30 NIV

1.    Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2 NIV

Pattern of this world: values and customs, culture, procedures, policies, ideologies, systems. This can be applied to your family, school, church, business. Do not be conformed into this world but assume and practice the culture of the Kingdom. Do you want to know the Kingdom’s culture? Read and study the Sermon of the Mountain.

But be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Metamorphosis - beyond the form. Nonconformity, in-satisfaction, discomfort with establishment, how the things have been done. You will never change if you think everything in your life is OK!

It is by the renewing of your mind - it is through true repentance you begin to change. Change in thinking. You will never change if how you think is not changed.

People don’t change because they don’t realize that the Word of God is not for their spiritual lives only, but for every aspect of their lives. The mentality of sacred things applied to religion is a hindrance for success in everything. For God everything is sacred because He created everything.

Where God is, it is holy. God is in me. Therefore, everything is Holy. So I can’t practice sin in anything because God is in me. Where God is there is freedom, but freedom to be who you are to be transformed.

CONCLUSION

We must go from self-conscience to God’s consciousness; from sin consciousness to righteousness conscience and from self-efforts to Spirit dependence.

2 Corinthians 3:9, 11-14, 16-18 NIV

V. 9 - “If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness!

WE MUST GIVE UP FOLLOWING THE LAW, TO FOLLOW CHRIST

V. 11–12 - And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts! (12) Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.

WE HAVE TO TAKE OUR EYES FROM THE GLORY OF MOUNT SINAI TO FIX OUR EYES INTO THE CALVARY MOUNT.

V. 13-14 - We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. (14) But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.

MOISES EVEN KNOWING HIS FACE HAS LOST THE SHINNING HE GOT FROM BEING WITH GOD 40 DAYS HE CONTINUE TO USE HIS VEIL. WE HAVE TO TAKE AWAY OUR VEILS TO BE TRANSFORMED BY GOD.

V. 16-18 -  But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. (17) Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (18) And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”

We find true freedom when we can be who we really are in the presence of the Spirit, so He can transform us into the Image of the Lord.
