Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel is the first head of government to visit the President-elect of Brazil who will take office in three days (1/1/2019). And it is the first time an Israeli head of government has visited Brazil since 1948.
The Prime Minister arrived by the airline אל על EL AL. Very interesting that the campaign slogan of President Jair Bolsonaro has been: "Brazil above all, God above all."
For my friend Paulo de Tarsus, one of the leaders of the CAB - the Brazilian Apostolic Council, the arrival of the prime minister and his wife "is not only [the arrival of] a couple ... It's a sign! The Sign of the Blessing of our God that landed on the wings of El Al in our Fatherland! To Thee, only to You, Our God and Father, all Glory... To us the Joy of serving You."
We have always prayed for an alliance between Israel and Brazil. For many years there was no possibility of such thing. In 1997 when Benjamin Netanyahu became prime minister for the first time, I had the privilege of drafting a Praise Motion for his election, authored by State Representative Raul Lima Neto, unanimously approved by the Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais. Today, when I saw the images and photos of this meeting, my heart also rejoiced. Seeds planted for decades begin to bloom. And there will be much fruit for the two nations.
Today, truly, a new time begins, but there are those who see this only as a political fact without major significance. When we had a Night to Bless Israel on 11/24/2018 in Boston we knew that something tremendous would happen in relation to both countries. In that prophetic word of that night the Lord sealed in heaven this new time. Brazil would lead Latin America into a new time of relationship with Israel.
For my friend Marcelo Guimarães of the Ministry Teaching in Sião and founder of the Museum of the Inquisition in Belo Horizonte today is the second major date of Israel's relationship with Brazil: "The first one was obviously 19/11/1947 when Oswaldo Aranha, a Brazilian, decided with his vote at UN to create the State of Israel and the second, today, with this meeting of President Bolsonaro with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu."
We were already waiting and we were able to participate in the preparations for the visit of Pastor Mario Bramnick. Ramiro Peña from the United States and Albert Veksler from Israel to Brazil to meet with the President elected on December 20, 2018. Our friends had just walked step by step in God's purposes. They were emissaries of Peace.
And our God is leading history. In the consonants of the name BRZL (Brazil) are the names of the mothers of the tribes of Israel, Billah, Rachel, Zilpah and Leah. I see no coincidence at all. I simply see Brazil and Israel in the eternal purpose of God. He who has ears, let him hear. Today Jair Bolsonaro and Benjamim Netanyahu started an alliance to endure forever.
