Many apostles, prophets, pastors, Catholic priests and many other leaders have been warning since last year's presidential elections about the wicked plans, schemes and actions of the Brazilian Marxist Workers Party (PT) to remain in power inspired somehow by Cuba's Castro and Venezuela's Chaves styles.
The PT political party main members and other leftists strategically launched the São Paulo Forum in the beginning of the 90's to unite all socialists to take the political power not only in Brazil, but in many countries of Latin America. They came to power in Brazil in a broader alliance with many right wing opportunists led by greedy and lusty politicians controlled literally by evil human desires and demonic spirits.
President Dilma godfather, former President Lula came to power 12 years ago. She was appointed by him that time to preside Petrobras, the Brazilian petroleum company from which her party and coalition politicians have stolen so much until they sucked all the operational resources and profits up to the colossal total amount of 42 billion dollars. These are the numbers the courageous Federal Judge Moro and his assistants came up after their investigations in a massive effort called "Lava-Jato operation". It has been considered one - if not - the largest corruption scandals of human history.
Understand! All of these ghoulish bloodsucking practices happened under the watch of President Lula and his successor President Dilma, disguised by their pilot social program to end hunger.
Lula's son, Lulinha, an employee of a zoo in São Paulo when his father was inaugurated as President became a millionaire in less than eight years by misconduct and special benefits from the State under his father deceitful and corrupted mandate. And today practically all other members of his family are either under judicial investigation or have been cited as beneficiaries of a corruption case. His father's mistress was also a personage in a scandal involving the office of the Presidency in São Paulo capital. And even the assassination of a mayor of PT party in a city of São Paulo state has been ruled by some officials as part of a conspiracy to silence someone who knew much about the party's schemes and didn't want to be part of it!
President Dilma was indicted today in impeachment procedures by Congressman Eduardo Cunha, President of the lower house of the Federal legislative branch. If she is impeached by Congress her Vice President Michel Temer (PMDB party) will take her place, but even he is under corruption scrutiny! The next officials in the succession line are the presidents of the House of Representatives Eduardo Cunha and of the Senate Renan Calheiros, but both of them from PMDB are also under investigation in the Petrobras scandal.
Eduardo Cunha who became President of the House of Representatives is an Assembly of God active member and was elected to this position by the government opposition deputies with the support of many evangelical politicians and pastors. He is accused to have embezzled more than 35 million dollars from Petrobras. This money was discovered in his family bank accounts in Switzerland. And his own church is accused of receiving some money from his crooked practices.
So far, scandals of millions and millions of dollars outnumber all others in Brazil history. They have crowded the Justice system and even some Judges are under investigation for taking part in this peculate spree. And many other politicians from the opposition parties have been formally accused or are under Justice scrutiny for similar wrongdoings.
The bottom line is that corruption is systemic and rampant in every aspect of the Government, in all levels, federal, state and municipal and in all spheres of Society as a whole. Bribing, lies, cheating, avarice and unfaithfulness have become norm among people everywhere. Needless to say, millions in the nation are under total spiritual, economical and political despair.
Millions of Evangelicals and Pentecostals are frustrated by the results of the Theology of Prosperity misguided preaching, because they could not expect what is going on now in the country. They hoped for peace, but there is war. They were promised prosperity, but there is poverty. People by thousands and thousands are loosing jobs, houses, had to return cars to the banks that financed them. Millions are in debt and are bankrupt. Unemployment is in the higher numbers in decades. Businesses are closing doors. Last month companies requesting bankruptcy increased in 37%. The fantasy of Lula's taking 50 million Brazilians out of poverty and empowering the Middle Class became a fiasco. Electoral social programs like free college for students have been reduced drastically and hospitals are shutting down all over Brazil, just to mention few examples. Violence is an epidemic plague in every corner of cities and rural areas. Last week In an important city of Minas Gerais state two pastors in different episodes were killed while being robed. Thousands of crimes are not solved, impunity is the rule and the population don't expect any deliverance of Justice; only few cases are really investigated and judged.
And let us be honest, the so called "Brazilian revival" is a myth, because the flood of people in the churches have not resulted in transformation in the fabrics of Society. There is clearly a move of God in many places and among many people, many are truly being saved indeed, but it is far from being a genuine massive revival. Large majority of Christian politics is corrupt. Divorce and domestic violence are as the same among Evangelical, Pentecostal and Catholics as in any other segment of Brazilian society. Statistics and reality portrays a brutal spiritual decay in the character and practices of the majority of Christian people all across the nation.
The following verses of prophet Isaiah express and describe basically what is going on in these days within the very soul of Brazil:
“No one calls for justice; no one pleads a case with integrity. They rely on empty arguments, they utter lies; they conceive trouble and give birth to evil.
They hatch the eggs of vipers and spin a spider’s web. Whoever eats their eggs will die, and when one is broken, an adder is hatched. Their cobwebs are useless for clothing; they cannot cover themselves with what they make.
Their deeds are evil deeds, and acts of violence are in their hands. Their feet rush into sin; they are swift to shed innocent blood.
They pursue evil schemes; acts of violence mark their ways. The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths.
They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks along them will know peace. So justice is far from us, and righteousness does not reach us. We look for light, but all is darkness; for brightness, but we walk in deep shadows.
We all growl like bears; we moan mournfully like doves. We look for justice, but find none; for deliverance, but it is far away.” Isaiah 59:4-9, 11
Moreover now comes another word from God's merciful heart for a people who was described with the words above. Jesus already has been given! We all have to turn to Him.
“When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?
Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.
Distressed and hungry, they will roam through the land; when they are famished, they will become enraged and, looking upward, will curse their king and their God.
Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will be thrust into utter darkness.”
“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.
You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as warriors rejoice when dividing the plunder. For as in the day of Midian’s defeat, you have shattered the yoke that burdens them, the bar across their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor.
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.” Isaiah 8:19-22; 9:2-4, 6-7
Yes, In the midst of voices and reports from those who do not believe, there is hope! Many find consolation and encouragement in the fact that there are many judges, general attorneys, detectives and federal policemen who are doing a superb job in dismantling the evil plans of those evil men and women. And many of them are not ashamed to tell about their faith in Jesus Christ evidenced by their testimony more than by words. There are still many politicians and public servants who did not sold their souls to corruption. There are thousands and thousands of faithful God's servants who did not bow to Mammon/Baal and are not lured by the antichrist preachers and priests who try to heal superficially the wounds of the nation.
Surely Brazil is under the Judgement of God, but we call upon His mercies that endure forever. Surely there is a way out for His people. Repentance! Repentance! And prayers!
There is a John, the Baptist; there is a Joseph; there is a Daniel generation in the land formed by the ones who will carry the true Kingdom Revival fire that will transform the nation indeed. There is a remnant and the remnant is alive and well! Many friends, apostles and prophets, and many other pastors, priests, and leaders from the Reformed churches are leading a spectacular movement of repentance, proclaiming the Kingdom's righteousness and fomenting Justice in the life of the Church and to reach all areas of society. They have been making disciples of Jesus and these disciples are to arise and shine in his darkest hour.
And we pray! We pray! We pray! And we are sure Jesus Himself is intervening to clean this mess, to judge everyone and to establish His Justice and Truth in the land. Prayers are being heard. Brazil shall become the Kingdom of God and His Christ. It always starts with the Remnant!
