Why we vote?

Josimar Salum

I am positive we can not compromise our relationship with Jesus (Faith) to get benefits for our immigration causes.

I think it is not just abortion and gay marriage are the issues the Scriptures vehemently condemns.

Many of us are blindsided to focus only on those issues while we forget our own issues like our divisions and sectarianism with our leaders. They are so abominable to God like gay marriage and abortion. The Scriptures come to the point to affirm that those who destroy the Temple of the Spirit (through divisions and sectarianism) God will destroy them. Just to give an example.

Christians make a huge confusion between the choice (election)  of Government Leaders and the choice (election) of Church Leaders.

I don't expect that non believers politicians will act if they were true believers. The same way I don't expect Christian Political Leaders to act sinfully, but the truth is many of them become worse than many who are non believers.

In Brazil I know a Homosexual Congressman who is more honest, uncorrupted and show more character in dealing with Public matters than most of the Christian and Pastors congressmen.

I myself would never vote to politicians who promote abortion and gay marriage, but also I would not vote for a politician who is corrupt and promotes social injustice. There mare many Christian politicians that are against abortion and gay marriage who are anti-immigrants.

Any of us in some level will always vote because our own interests. Many politicians who are in favor of abortion are the ones usually who are fighters against religion slavery. You were benefited by American Laws that were approved with the support many Liberal Elected Politicians. Religion freedom is fought by abortionists as well by conservatives.

My point is, as we need to pass in this country Immigration Laws that are just and upright we will have to count far more with liberals than with conservatives.

Many conservatives are Shiites in the Name of Jesus and they have caused a lot of damage among communities of immigrants. Their Justice sense may work for abortion and gay marriage issues while they support abominable ungodly legislation that are evil as much as abortion and gay marriage practices and support.

We have dual citizenship. Heaven citizenship and earthly citizenship. Our total faithfulness and loyalty are to our King and for Him we do not compromise.

When exercising our earthly citizenship Christians may vote to people that are 100% Pro-Family and 100% Pro-Life but are 100% against Immigrants. There are some Christian Politicians that are in fact racists and not respecter of people. Though I will not vote for abortionists and gay marriage supporters I will not vote either for those who are against the Immigration communities.

I voted for Mr. Mitt Romney in the last Presidential Election. Though he defended "auto-deportation" as a Immigration solution for US I really think that was his soft position to appease the Republican Conservative Shiites. He did not say he would deport all undocumented migrants which would please them even more, but came up with this stupidity called "Self Deportation". Who would present himself to be deported? No comments.

I knew well Mitt Romney believes in Mormonism. He surely conducts his life by his beliefs. He believes that Jesus is a brother of Satan. The Mormon teaching that Jesus and Satan are brothers is based on their concept of God being the Father of all pre-existent spirits.

Mormons do not agree that Jesus is the eternal Word of God or God himself. I will stop with these two examples.

Should we vote for an anti-Christ politician?

"This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world." (I John 4:2)

Even acknowledging his pact with satan - those who deny Jesus is God have indeed a pact with satan - I voted for Mitt Romney due to my perception that he would not support abortion or gay marriage. He would not support not because of his declarations - I think he is a liar and a flip flop opportunist politician, but because the conservatives who would be the support of his Presidency. A President does not act alone, but with the support of his/her political base.

I didn't think he would oppose to a Comprehensive  Immigration Bill primarily because he is a Businessman. He knows America Businesses can't function without the undocumented migrant work force. Also many of Republicans are favorable of  supportive immigration laws and at the end politicians can't continue pushing  11 million people and growing migrants to the next President term.

Barack Obama did not promise Amnesty because he was also after Centrist votes. But no doubt his proposals for Immigration were much beneficial than Mitt Romney.

He is also the most favorable President in US History of abortion, pro-gay agenda and several iniquities never supported by any former President.

I repulsed Obama's Government deportation policies and practices that damaged and brought misery and despair to thousands of good working people and families. He destroyed thousands of family ties deporting working Law abiding immigrant parents by separating them of their families.

Nevertheless the response of Latino votes at the Election Day was on target. They elected Barack Obama.

Here we are, the most Liberal President of American History is the one that probably will sign a bill that will bless millions of migrants. Practically all Migrant churches in America will be benefited.

In conclusion, I find more accessible and profitable to promote many certain Godly causes in our country dealing with Liberals than Conservatives.

I completely agree we need wisdom from God how to exercise our duties and rights as American Citizens.

In my case I have no problem to ask and work with a Congressman homosexual, a atheist, Mormon or muslin to support our Immigration Amnesty cause.

On the same issue I have no problem to work with a Christian politician that is corrupted, who divorced his wife to marry his secretary and also has in his record he voted against sending money to help the kids in Africa to pass favorable Immigration Laws. And I really do understand that adultery is equally an abominable sin as homosexual practice.

I can work with them all, Republicans and Democrats on the Immigration issue regardless their life styles or political practices.

Politically they are Republican and Democrats and not Christian and non Christians. By the way I don't vote in someone because he or she is a Christian.

I work with any of them just because I need their votes.

And doing that I don't think I  compromise my Faith in Jesus.

I didn't vote and I will never not vote for many of them.

I don't commune with their sinful practices.

And most important I do not judge and condemn them.  I will never feel in any way that I am better than any of them.

I may even become their true friends like Jesus was a friend of sinners and publicans.

I truly know I live by Grace and I am justified by Faith not due to my own justice, but because of the Justice in the Blood of Jesus.
