Cyrus the Great was a Persian king —historically and biblically recognized as the founder of the Achaemenid Empire, the first Persian Empire, established around 550 BC. His name appears in the Bible not merely as a political figure, but as someone whom God sovereignly raised up for a divine purpose.

Historically, Cyrus was Persian. The term “Persian” refers to the ancient ethnic and cultural group originating from Persis, which corresponds to what is today the Fars Province in Iran. The Persians were a proud and influential people who gave rise to one of the greatest empires of antiquity.

However, if Cyrus lived today, he would be considered Iranian—because modern-day Iranoccupies the same territory once ruled by the Persian kings, and the Persian people are one of Iran’s primary ethnic foundations. Cyrus was a descendant of the Persians, and therefore, by today’s standards, he would naturally fall under the national identity of “Iranian.”

An important distinction must be made between the terms “Persian” and “Iranian”: Persianrefers to the ancient ethnic and cultural identity rooted in the region of Persis, an identity still proudly embraced today, particularly within Iran. In contrast, Iranian is the modern national identity officially adopted in 1935, which encompasses all ethnic groups within the borders of present-day Iran, including Persians. Therefore, while Cyrus was Persian by blood, heritage, and empire, he would today be considered Iranian by geography and national identity.

God Is Calling Us to Stand Firm on His Promises in This Critical Hour. Like many of you, I’ve been deeply disturbed by the growing surge of anti-Israel rhetoric flooding the internet. The spirit of antisemitism is not merely ideological—it is spiritual. Even within patriotic movements like “America First,” some voices are now suggesting that the United States should distance itself from Israel. But this moment goes far beyond politics or alliances - this is spiritual warfare.

We believe we are once again encountering the ancient principality referred to in Daniel 10:13—the Prince of Persia. This powerful demonic force resisted the purposes of God in ancient times and required both Gabriel and Michael to overcome. What we are facing now is not just a war of narratives or policies - it is a supernatural clash for nations, destinies, and the fulfillment of prophecy.

Satan would love nothing more than to crush Israel, humiliate the United States, and destroy President Trump’s mission to restore America. But that will not happen.

In prayer, the Lord reminded me of something He spoke to me back in 2015:

Donald Trump is a modern-day Cyrus.

That word led me (Lance Wallnau) back to the prophecy in Isaiah 45:1, where God declares:

“I will go before you and level the exalted places,

to loose the belts of kings,

to open doors before you, that gates may not be closed.” (Isaiah 45:1, ESV)

The phrase “to loose the belts of kings” carried powerful symbolism in the ancient world. A king’s belt secured his weapons, his royal garments, and his authority to rule and fight. To loosen it meant to disarm him, to leave him vulnerable, unprepared, and stripped of power.

He is loosening the belts of kings in our day—disarming powers, destabilizing systems, and opening doors that no man can shut. Thrones are shaking. Elites are being exposed. Strongholds are losing their grip. And all of this is happening as part of God’s sovereign agenda to prepare the nations for the advance of His Kingdom.

And let us not forget: Cyrus didn’t even know the Lord, yet God still called him “My anointed.”

If God could use a secular Persian king to fulfill prophetic destiny, how much more can He use a president who has acknowledged Jesus, honored God’s people, and stood with Israel?

This is not the time to retreat in fear or be distracted by controversy. This is a time to pray, stand, and intercede with boldness.

The Battle Is Intensifying—But So Is the Movement of God

• Doors are opening.

• Thrones are trembling.

• Strongholds are breaking.

• Nations are being positioned for the greatest Gospel advance in history.

We are not passive observers—we are called to be intercessors, aligned with heaven’s purpose.

Let us walk with clarity.

Let us pray with authority.

Let us remain unshaken—rooted in the Word of God and led by the Spirit of God.

The Dagestani Muslims who stormed Makhachkala airport did so to exterminate the Jews who were on the plane from Tel Aviv. Don't think of this as an independent event, it is a sign of the current evil movement among the nations to persecute and kill Jews.

Yes, this wave is spreading across the world. In the United Kingdom, crimes against Jews have increased in the last year by almost 1,400% – fourteen hundred percent. And it increased in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and the United States. Anti-Semitism has been on the rise fueled by leftist ideologies among US college students around the world.

These are Esther's times! And we are challenged to be at Esther's side!

We will not support this spirit of Haman. Haman and Hamas operate in the same spirit of destruction, while the sons of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob fight and prosper. Haman (meaning noise, tumult) planned to exterminate the Jews in the days of Ahasuerus, king of Persia, today's Iran, but God raised up a woman for such a time to free His people from extermination.

What Hamas terrorists perpetrated on October 7, 2023 in the early hours of Shabbat, raping girls and women, cutting off children's heads, torturing entire families, killing men and women, hunting young people like animals that fled in the desert and kidnapping entire families is perversely indescribable, a horror beyond human, of beings totally obsessed with hate, with no possible human explanation, other than the fact that they were incarnated by dark spirits.

The similarity of the names is interesting. In Esther's day it was Haman. Nowadays, Hamas (violence).

If it does not defend its people, the government of Israel would be considered unfair and wicked. It is your indisputable duty of Justice before the Righteous God to bring all these terrorists to the sword.

The United States, in the person of President Biden, shows support publicly, but privately puts pressure on everything to prevent Israel from taking complete action against its enemies. We must provide unwavering support for Israel to do what is right and pray that the people in Gaza and Lebanon are freed from the terrorists of Hamas and Hezbollah.

This war is not simply about eradicating Hamas terrorists, but also about ensuring the existence of Israel, millions of people in Israel and around the world.

Could you imagine this Hamas and this Hezbolah (party of God) with total government in the region? What would they do, since they already harm their own people?

The coming days and weeks will be frightening for Jews and Christians alike.

The prince of Persia went too far. God's Judgment (in Daniel's prophetic time) will be relentless and will represent the death of thousands of people, terrorists and, unfortunately, many Palestinians, Lebanese and other people in the region.

Many people have come together, inspired by the Prince of Darkness, to destroy the people of the inheritance, but have no doubt, they will not prevail. Michael, the Prince of Israel in history, always beat the prince of Persia. Anyone who has eyes to see and ears to hear will understand what is at stake!

Donald Trump guaranteed the extermination of at least 30,000 Islamic terrorists (ISIS) in less than a year a few years ago. And the world didn't even notice.

In the coming days I want to live brokenly but boldly in the presence of God and I hope that He will count on me and empower me as an intercessor for Justice, for His righteous will to be done, for a powerful spiritual awakening of His people in the holy land and throughout the world and for the establishment of Jerusalem and His Israel as the light of the world.

The times of Esther (hidden) and the times of Daniel (God is my Judge) form a perfect storm in the invisible world. And dark clouds are covering the region where God revealed himself to humanity.

However, God's unknown acts, his mysterious acts behind the scenes in these Middle Eastern countries, were not taken into account.

We will be amazed when God's works are revealed. And don't doubt, don't be mistaken, Israel will win and everyone who aligns themselves with God's promise to His people.

Israel lives!
