Bribery in the Light of the Bible.

 Any benefit, gift or money you give someone to obtain a favor or advantage is a bribe.

 A public official who requires money to perform a task for which he receives his salary is demanding a bribe.

 Whether government or a company that uses bribes as a means of transaction is corrupt.  He who bribes does not please God and will bring ruin to himself and his nation.

 If this is the culture of a nation, it needs to be transformed, because it is justice that exalts the nations, and not the corruption that is the shame of the peoples.

 “In Zion, sinners are frightened;  the tremor takes over the wicked.  They ask: “Who among us will live with the devouring fire?  Who of us will dwell with eternal flames? ”He who walks in justice and speaks what is right;  who despises the gain of oppression;  who, with a gesture of his hands, refuses to accept a bribe;  who covers his ears, so as not to hear about homicides, and closes his eyes, so as not to see evil. ” Isaiah 33: 14-15 NAA

Our God who is a consuming fire cannot live with those who practice injustice.

 ““Even tax collectors came to be baptized. “Teacher,” they asked, “what should we do?” “Don’t collect any more than you are required to,” he told them. Then some soldiers asked him, “And what should we do?” He replied, “Don’t extort money and don’t accuse people falsely—be content with your pay.”” Luke‬ ‭3:12-14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Soldiers and tax payers and all public servants should abide by Justice before God’s eyes.

 ““Do not pervert justice or show partiality. Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the innocent. Follow justice and justice alone, so that you may live and possess the land the Lord your God is giving you.” Deuteronomy‬ ‭16:19-20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

 “The wicked take bribes secretly, to pervert the paths of justice.” Proverbs 17:23 NAA

Anything you can’t do on day light is probably a shameful thing.

 “- Do not pervert the poor man's right to come to you with your cause.  Stay away from the false accusation.  Do not kill the innocent and the just, because I will not justify the wicked.  Do not take bribes, because bribes blind even the discerning and pervert the words of the righteous. ” Exodus 23: 6-8 NAA

Our nation is transformed only if each of us is transformed. Don’t blame the Government for things you should do. Who blames everyone thinks he or she can be excused before God. It is our little acts of Justice in everyday life that makes up the transformation we are waiting for. Be the agent of transformation you want to see in others. Refuse to do anything that is not of Justice and Righteousness.
