We believe the Scriptures beyond creeds and confessions of faith. By Josimar Salum
Let me tell you something. In God's Kingdom "things" are not black or white; sometimes only.
We have to learn from the Holy Spirit. Always learn. And come to no final conclusions.
Jesus said “learn from Me”: it is a journey and not an event. It is not a class experience of a school, it is communing with Him, constantly, in life.
Never hold on to stony convictions or beliefs; never be so sure of anything that makes you to survive depending on what you believe, that your confidence and stability are based on belief.
Steady your life in Jesus, in the person of Jesus. There is no need for creeds or confessions of faith to follow you. With Jesus you always endure, even when your convictions and beliefs come to pass.
Every believer has a lot of answer to this or that, they have to have an answer to everything, but it is not a sign that they have friendship with Jesus.
More than the letter, more than the certainty of things, better is the walking with Him and dependence on Him. We hold on solely on the written word of God, most precisely we hold on the Word of God.
It is better to hear day after day: “This is the way, walk on it.” It's the Voice, it's the Voice, I never want to stop hearing.”
