A PROPHETIC PROCLAMATION OVER LEBANON AND ISRAEL. Josimar Salum

   November 27, 2024 at 2 AM Eastern Time

   God is going to hear all of your prayers from the last years. 

   There will be a large spreading of the Holy Spirit fire that will bring thousands and thousands of Lebanese, Kurdish, Druze, Armenians, Syrians, Muslims and even Jews, and thousands of  young  people into the Kingdom. 

   Our Father shall bestow His mercies and Lebanon will be purged and cleansed of sin.

   “Is it not yet a very little while Till Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, And the fruitful field be esteemed as a forest?

   In that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book, And the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity and out of darkness. 

   The humble also shall increase their joy in the Lord, And the poor among men shall rejoice In the Holy One of Israel. 

   For the terrible one is brought to nothing, The scornful one is consumed, And all who watch for iniquity are cut off— Who make a man an offender by a word, And lay a snare for him who reproves in the gate, And turn aside the just by empty words. 

   Therefore thus says the Lord, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: “Jacob shall not now be ashamed, Nor shall his face now grow pale; But when he sees his children, The work of My hands, in his midst, They will hallow My name, And hallow the Holy One of Jacob, And fear the God of Israel. 

   These also who erred in spirit will come to understanding, And those who complained will learn doctrine.”” Isaiah‬ ‭29‬:‭17‬-‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

   “The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, 

   And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, Even with joy and singing. 

   The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, The excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, The excellency of our God.

   Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees. 

   Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.”

   Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, And the tongue of the dumb sing. 

   For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert. The parched ground shall become a pool, And the thirsty land springs of water; In the habitation of jackals, where each lay, There shall be grass with reeds and rushes. 

   A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. 

   The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray. 

   No lion shall be there, Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it; It shall not be found there. But the redeemed shall walk there, And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” Isaiah‬ ‭35‬:‭1‬-‭10‬ ‭

   There shall be reconciliation among my peoples. There shall be a highway from Tyre to Zion. Even if your eyes can’t envision the great miracle of God’s hand Shalom will fill my hills and my valleys. 

   “Come with me from Lebanon, my spouse, With me from Lebanon.

   Look from the top of Amana, From the top of Senir and Hermon, From the lions’ dens, From the mountains of the leopards. 

   A garden enclosed Is my sister, my spouse, A spring shut up, A fountain sealed. A fountain of gardens, *A well of living waters, And streams from Lebanon.”* Song of Solomon‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬, ‭12‬, ‭15‬ ‭

   Let us all cry out to the Holy Spirit of God. 

   “Awake, O north WIND, And come, O south! Blow upon my garden, That its spices may flow out. Let my beloved come to his garden And eat its pleasant fruits.” Song of Solomon‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬ ‭‬‬

   AMEN!

VERY URGENT MESSAGE FROM LEBANON 

The peace of Christ be with you my brothers and sisters and partners in ministry.

“May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I Pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. “ - Philippians 1:2 

I would like to share with you the devastating situation in our dear country Lebanon as we desperately need you to join us in prayer as we are ONE Body in Christ.

The situation in Lebanon is very critical and dangerous economically and politically. The economy is drastically deteriorating and people are in great need for food provision , medicine and other basic necessities.

We are also witnessing severe political unrest inside the country, as well as pressure from outside. 

There is conflict between the different political parties in the country, poverty, starvation, theft, murder … In truth, Lebanon has never undergone such horrific challenges even when the country was at war.

Dear brothers and sisters, cherished holy family, it is vital that we unite in prayer and bind all evil schemes against the Lord's children and churches in Lebanon and in the Middle East. 

Lebanon is the only Christian country in the region, hence it is the enemy's plan to hit and abolish the Gospel teachings and the message of salvation. It is worthy to note that many muslims from nearby countries have been saved by hearing the Good News during their residency in Lebanon. Many Christians from those countries have taken refuge here as well. Therefore, Lebanon and the Church here are the enemy's targets. 

Your support, love and prayers give us strength and perseverance to resist the enemy's schemes by the power of the Holy Spirit and win this battle, to be a blessing to many and to strive for the expansion of the Kingdom of God in the Middle East.

THE ORIGIN OF THE SALUM FAMILY IN LEBANON: AN ACT OF GOD'S PROVIDENCE!

On the last day of the trip to Lebanon (9/23/2021) we visited a part of the Shuf mountain in one of the regions where the cedars of Lebanon grow. This region is inhabited by the Druze, a sect of Islam. I previously referred to them in the article where I mentioned that I have been praying for them and the Kurds for the last twenty-three years when I learned from my friend Pr David Botelho that at the time it was not known that there was even a disciple of Jesus among them. 

One of the last towns we passed before reaching Cedar Mountain is Mokhatara, meaning “The Chosen One” where we visited a 300-year-old palace occupied by the family of Druze leader Kamal Joumblat who was murdered in 1977.

And who are the Druze? From the information I could research on the internet and from conversations with Elie Lteif, a disciple from Baadaran, near Mokhatara, the Druze follow a religion derived from Islam, but with their own identity, concentrated in the Levant region - Lebanon, Syria and Israel, in addition to a strong diaspora in Venezuela.

In Lebanon, the Druze follow their leaders, the most important being Walid Jumblat. It currently maintains an independent position in Lebanese politics, navigating different sides according to the political nose of Jumblat, one of the most respected political figures in the Arab world. But there are Druze factions rivaling him. And Druze usually live in the Shuf, which is a portion of the Lebanon hills just south of the coast of Beirut.

The Druze are a small autonomous religious community that reside mainly in Lebanon, Israel, Syria, Turkey and Jordan and other countries and follow a social model very similar to that of the Arabs in the region. They are not considered Muslims by most Muslims in the region, although some Druze say their religion is Islamic. Most Druze consider themselves Arabs, although some Israeli Druze do not consider themselves Arabs. There are about a million Druze worldwide, most of whom live in the Middle East.

Well, as I mentioned, to my surprise the driver who assisted us throughout the journey, this beloved brother Elie Lteif is from the town of Mokhatara.

In the last nine days I've been researching the origin of Salum (Salloum), I even found a pharmacy in the Valle of Baca region with the name Pharmacie Salloum. But it was Elie (Elias or Elijah) who on this last day reported that the palace city is the birthplace of the Salloum family in Lebanon and many of the family still reside in the city.

The Salloum are Druze of Lebanese origin. Druze? So I've been praying all this time for the salvation of descendants where my great grandfather Moussa Girgi Salloum came from?

The Brazilian version of the name is Mussi (Mucci) Jorge Salum, father of my grandfather Jamil Jorge Salum, Joaquim Jorge Salum, José Jorge Salum, Jorge Salum and they had a sister Maria do Carmo, I knew her as aunt Carmita.

Can you imagine the providence of God ? All this time I've been and still am praying for the Druze exactly where my family on my mother Leny's side comes from! And the first Druze that I now have news of becoming a disciple of Jesus was exactly my great-grandfather?

If I was amazed at hundreds of Kurds converted to Jesus, my heart was even more joyful to hear that hundreds of Druze were also saved. They are receiving Jesus in house meetings even though they are at risk of being killed for becoming Jesus' disciples. Our ancestors came from the mountains where the cedars of Lebanon are born and grow.

Can you see my admiration to see that I was praying for a people where my great-grandfather comes from, without knowing it? Only the Holy Spirit can do such a thing! Glory to our Eternal Father!
