A PRAYER AND A WORD FOR THE COUPLES IN THE FAMILY THAT THE FATHER LOVES By Josimar Salum

Tonight I was praying for our family and our family members. My spirit weighed as if my heart had been squeezed by an invisible hand. And I prayed even more for myself, for a softened and broken heart. When we feel weak and frail, it is the best state of soul to seek the face of the Lord.

Ah! The number of hearts of people we love that have hardened and don't know it is too grave. How many are self-sufficient and full of reason, with rehearsed answers, which only serve to deepen the misery they have chosen. Yes, he who hears the Word and does not obey it deceives himself.

And this text of the Word surprised me as if it was the first time I had read it. It is the text of Malachi 2:13-17

"There is something else you do: moan and cry, covering the altar of God with tears because He no longer accepts the sacrifices you offer."

This speaks of our visual performance that does not reflect a deep transformation of the heart. It speaks of empty rhetoric that does not fit with what we live.

It speaks of a religious practice of praying, moaning, but only with feelings and words. It's just an act, because it's only on the altar of life that we can be true and acceptable to the Lord.

Our Father wants repentance. Our Father wants conversion. Our Father wants us to turn from our evil ways and turn to Him. And the longer we delay in responding to His call, the more our hearts harden. And it is in the meantime that our enemy sends people to strengthen us in our hardening and further drive us away from the Father. There comes in us a feeling of freedom, of relief, that we are single again, that we can erase everything we lived for this a new adventure, of being apart. But those are not friends, they are not supportive, they are messengers of Satan to help us oppose God and His will, no matter how much we regard them as friends. 

We cannot be deceived by prayers and words that do not bring about this conversion, that do not bring us closer to the clear will of God. All advice in this direction is demonic, and needs to be denounced as such.

“And each of you asks, 'Why?'

Why doesn't God accept our sacrifices?

It's because God knows you've been unfaithful to your wife, the woman you married when you were a young man.

She was your mate, but you broke the promise you made in God's presence that you would be faithful to her.

Isn't it true that God created ONE, made of flesh and spirit? And what does God want from him (they are no longer two, but ONE)? May you have children who are dedicated to God. So be careful that none of you are unfaithful to your wife.”

The text should also be read like this:

“It's because God knows you've been unfaithful to your husband, the man you married when you were a young woman.

He was your companion, but you broke the promise you made in God's presence that you would be faithful to him.

Isn't it true that God created ONE, made of flesh and spirit? And what does God want from him (they are no longer two, but ONE)? May you have children who are dedicated to God. So be careful that none of you are unfaithful to your husband."

“For the Lord Almighty of Israel says:—I hate divorce (repudiation); I hate the man (I hate the woman) who does such a cruel thing.

So be careful, and let no one be unfaithful to his wife. So be careful, and let no one be unfaithful to her husband.

You talk too much, and the Lord is tired of all this talk.

But you still ask, "How did we make God tired?"

It was because they said: "The Lord God thinks that those who do evil things are good and, in fact, God likes them." Or you ask, "Where is the righteous God?"

Here is the deception in asteroids, thinking that God doesn't take evil into account. It is a total confusion about the person of God! It is the self-creation of a god who justifies your unfaithful actions.

The deception and illusion that a man or a woman who breaks the marriage covenant is a subtle deception of thinking that there is happiness in having jumped overboard, that one has the right to be happy breaking God's covenant. God has a huge commitment to the couple who does not give up! He counts on the participation of the two to build the family!

And to lead the couple to resolve their issues and marriage conflicts in the presence of God it will take a huge mental effort. It will take a cold and consistent decision to seek the Lord and break the bondage of hardening the heart. And I guarantee it! It will work out! God resolves. God helps.

And because God hates divorce. Simple and hard like that! God hates the unfaithful man. God hates the unfaithful woman. Do not attract judgment over your life. It won't be worth it, although the examples of separations in society show a false normality.

God loves you, man! God loves you, woman! Why change this by being unfaithful?

My beloved, my beloved, this is a time to soften the heart, to forgive, to reconcile, to restore, to return to having a child's heart.

Don't let your heart harden... and if it has hardened beyond measure, pray desperately for the Father to soften it.

There is a way out! There is hope! Everything can be right if the two appear together broken before the Lord.

The embrace of forgiveness and reconciliation is the best embrace in life. The pleasure of hugging one another again is the pleasure of the first hug. Remember how it was?

Our Father aids! Our Father helps! Our Father changes situations and transforms lives! Our Father transforms deserts into gardens! Our Father has a huge commitment to restoring marriages and blessing lives.
