WHO JESUS IS AND WHAT HE DOES Josimar Salum

WHO JESUS IS AND WHAT HE DOES

Josimar Salum

If the Devil did not have power, even if it came from God, would it not be a warning that he, the enemy of our souls, would use this power to deceive and destroy the faith of many?

Alas, I don't live on guesswork! As a child of God, neither should you! Nor do we stand on the Written Word of God! We are firm on the Word, on the Word of God, we are founded on Jesus Himself, the Word of God.

I have read, heard and watched so many people talking about what the Devil does, how he uses everything and everyone to fulfill his purposes.

The other day I received text after text from brothers warning of what Devil has done, is doing and will do "in these last days." I wanted to ask! Don't you have anything to tell me about what God is doing?

I will tell you the wonders the Lord has done! This is my subject!

I cannot underestimate what our brothers' tempter does, but the question remains: In your city, who acts more, God or the Devil?

Are there more angels or demons in your city? Does the iniquity that multiplies on Earth supplant the acts of God's goodness? Who is winning, God or the Devil?

What work prospers most on Earth? The work of God or the work of the Devil? What Kingdom is expanding in the Universe? Of course it is the Kingdom of God! For me, it's crystal clear! It's clear because I'm tuned in to God's channel, not CNN, Al Jazeera, BBC, the preaching of many evangelical leaders, or the government statistics.

“Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were all broken to pieces and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole Earth. “In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a Kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever." Daniel 2:35‭, ‬44

The God of heaven raised up the Kingdom when He became flesh and dwelt among us!

In order not to be misled about the possibility of attributing any power to the Devil, we must first of all consider how Jesus describes him:

“You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies." John 8:44

So it is! So how to consider everything the Devil says? As truth or lies?

"And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to." Luke 4:6

Yeah, the devil lied! There is no verse in the Bible that supports the belief that Adam gave the Devil dominion over the earth. On the contrary! "The Earth and its fullness are the Lord's, the world and those who dwell in it." Psalm 24:1

Watch out for these verses from the Bible:

"For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." Matthew 24:24

"And no wonder, for Satan himself becomes an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14

"The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved." 2 Thessalonians 2:9‭-‬10

"And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. Because of the signs it was given power to perform…" Revelation 13:13 and 14

These texts make no reference to the children of God. These texts refer to what happens in the kingdom of darkness, wonders and signs that false christs and false prophets do and it is impossible that with everything they do they can deceive the chosen.

These texts say that the devil transforms himself into an angel of light, but rather that "false apostles are deceitful workers, transfiguring themselves into apostles of Christ." 2 Corinthians 11:13

I am appalled when I hear preachers mention the Devil to inflict fear on believers! They speak of the coming of the Anti-Christ as if it were a gigantic sign of the end times, something that should make us wonder and be filled with suspense! The text that speaks of the appearance of the wicked one has nothing to do with the saved and those who know the Truth.

"This is what the Lord says: “Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by signs in the heavens, though the nations are terrified by them." Jeremiah 10:2

And who are the ones who worship the systems of this world? "All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world." Revelation 13:8

You and I have to decide from which perspective we are going to live on this Earth. From the perspective of Light or from the perspective of darkness, are we going to live for the Kingdom of God or the empire of darkness?

“Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire,” says the Lord Almighty. “Not a root or a branch will be left to them. BUT FOR YOU WHO REVERE MY NAME, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves. Then you will trample on the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty." Malachi 4:1‭-‬3

Satan and all his demons are a settled matter. Because Jesus' victory over all evil beings was total, complete and definitive.

In the spiritual battles that are still practiced by the evangelical camps, the forces of evil are ordered to dispossess countries and nations and communities. I don't remember Daniel, Paul, Peter and others going to principalities and powers in heavenly places but dealing only and exclusively with God, in His exclusive exaltation, humbling themselves under His mighty hand, resisting the Devil and this one by his time, every time, running away.

By the way, the most terrible strongholds in the sense of harming our lives are not out there, neither in the witchdoms nor in the satanic temples, but they can be in our minds. Lord have mercy!

“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete. You are judging by appearances. If anyone is confident that they belong to Christ, they should consider again that we belong to Christ just as much as they do." 2 Corinthians 10:4‭-‬7

Yes, darkness covers the earth, but for me and for you there is only Light. Because we are of the Light and we walk in the Light. In God, in whom we are, there is no darkness at all.

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. “Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the hip. Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come. The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Then all your people will be righteous and they will possess the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor." Isaiah 60:1‭-‬5‭, ‬19‭, ‬21

I hope you understand this! Jesus! Only Jesus! And we don't make room for the Devil, neither in our words nor in our thoughts. We just don't make room! Simply this! WE DON'T MAKE ROOM!

Capisci? ¿Compreende? Do you understand?
