Whenever I stand in front of pastors in Burundi. By Pr. Jeremie Manirakiza *

*This is a small testimony about what God is doing in a small but beautiful country in the heart of Africa. We love them so much! They are are our greatest joy these days. - Josimar Salum #ASONE*

Whenever I stand in front of pastors I really feel to praise and to give glory to God.

I always remember what I was before i meet Drs Paul Taylor and Josimar Salum. I was desperate and disappointed of what was happening in the church of Burundi. I could not think that one day God would use me as voice of proclamation of His  kingdom and an agent of transformation for my nation.

My dear, Dr Paul Taylor and Dr Josimar Salum, you have broken the spirit of religion in me and the church mindset. So one of my greatest concerns today is to break that spirit in the church of Burundi.

Today in our pastors’ meeting in the Karusi province we talked about the Kingdom principles but especially about bribery. We have discovered that bribery is the root of many problems in the church of Burundi and in the whole country. And bribery will end in the country when it does end in the church. I recommend you read the message Bribery in the Light of the Bible written by Dr. Salum.

We see those who call themselves servants of God acting like Judas. Some are paid a bribe so other servants of God may be killed, others receive bribe so that they may false accuse their brothers that they be imprisoned. It is so bad.

Thank you, Gerard Ninziza for giving me an opportunity to serve the kingdom of God. You are a man and a father of your community. You are a pastor of the multitude of fathers and children. I am learning much from you.
