War is raging between Israel and Islamic Jihad by Josimar Salum

Southern Israel has suffered a heavy rocket attack from Palestinian Islamic Jihad since yesterday. Just today, Wednesday, more than 350 rockets were fired at Israel from tanks and artillery batteries along the Gaza border amid violence.  .

  Where we are staying at the King Salomon Hotel, there is no danger.  Since Monday evening, when we arrived, we have been in Old Jerusalem, in Mamila, in much of the Dead Sea region, En-Gedi, Masada, in the Qumran Caves, and today “in the City of David” and again at the Old Jerusalem. We have entered and left through the Damascus Gate, Arab Quarter, where is the Garden of the Tomb and later through  the Golden Gate were we visited the Wailing Wall.

It is amazing because there is so much peace everywhere.  Children praying with their parents at the wall, all flowing normally.  Male and female Soldiers protect the streets while laughing and talking to wash other. Nor does it seem that Israel is at war, if it is not for some fighter planes crossing the skies It seems no one knows about the war that is going on in the southwest of the country.

  But people are suffering.  Israel is surrounded by terrorists everywhere, and it is not the walls that separate Jews from Palestinians and IDF this country would be a caos. On the contrary the prosperity, safety and all the beauty of the cities and landscapings are amazingly enjoyable. Our friend Miguel Nicolaevsky from CafeTorah.com who guided us today has been a trustful resource of information not just these days but when we are back in USA.

  I am not saying that everyone is a terrorist at those areas, but Israel is still surrounded by hostile countries, especially by Iran though it doesn’t borders whose government cruelly advocates the extinction of the state of Israel.  Iran finances all the following terrorists: Hezbolah in North Lebanon and in Syria in the Northeast; many lone wolves in Jordan to the east; terrorist groups in Iraq to the southeast, and Hamas and Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip and at the West Bank.

  Pray for the peace of Israel and for the conversion of all these wicked people.  Interesting that all of these members above are Muslims. These people lives at imminent judgment; as they attack. Israel reacts forcefully as it has the right to defend itself.

  It is noteworthy that many Muslims live in Israel and enjoy the prosperity and stability of the country, whether Arab or Palestinian.  Today we pass through streets inside Old Jerusalem that are inhabited by Muslims. And they have the right to build mosques, worship their Alah, make money and live in peace.

Today as we walked these streets we listened twice to the depressing chants of the Islamic call for prayer. The sound is really depressing. And my nephew Andre and I prayed in the Holy Spirit for each of these inhabitants that they may know and believe the true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and and Jacob and His Son Jesus Christ, - YESHUA Ha 'Mashia - the Prince of Peace.

  God saves the Jews, the Lebanese, the Arabs and the Egyptians and all the millions who live and visit this country that are still living without seeing and without entering His Kingdom.
